Dear Jason,

Welcome to Verizon Online, your connection to a whole new level of Internet enjoyment. Below is a recap of your order:

o Scheduled Installation Date -- 10-12-2006
o Scheduled Technician Arrival Window -- 08:31-12:31(Hrs)PDT
o Product Package -- Verizon FiOS Internet Service

As a new Verizon FiOS Internet Service customer, you will receive our premium installation service. Our FiOS technician will deliver the router you've chosen along with any included cables and accessories. You will also receive the Terms of Service, Verizon FiOS software, a welcome letter and a service guide with additional information about your Verizon FiOS service and related equipment.

If You Live in a Single-family Home:

Depending on your location, we may need to bury the new fiber cable from our area terminal to your home. If required, a small trench line will be dug and all displaced landscape will be restored with minimal effect to your property. This will typically take place prior to your installation date, and you are not required to be present for this portion of the installation. If your home is served aerially, this part of the installation is not required.

Our technician will install and/or activate the Verizon FiOS network equipment, including an Optical Network Terminal (ONT), power supply and battery back-up system. The power supply and battery back-up system will connect the ONT to your home's electricity through a nearby standard electrical outlet. Please ensure there is an outlet near the location where you would like the power supply connected, either inside your home or garage. If necessary, the FiOS technician will also install a data wire and a wall jack for your Internet Service. The technician will then install and configure the router and assist with the Verizon FiOS software download. Please plan for the entire process to take approximately four (4) to six (6) hours.

If You Live in an Apartment or Condominium:

If you live in a building with multiple tenants, such as an apartment building or condominium, the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) and battery back-up may be installed inside your home. However, in many apartments and condominiums, the ONT and battery back-up are installed in a centralized location in your building.

Depending on your building's configuration, our technician will install and/or activate the Verizon FiOS network equipment, including the ONT, power supply and battery back-up system. The power supply and battery back-up system will connect the ONT to your home's electricity through a nearby standard electrical outlet. Please ensure there is an outlet near the location where you would like the power supply connected, if the equipment is installed inside your home.

If necessary, the FiOS technician will install a data wire and a wall jack for your Internet service. The technician will then install and configure the router and assist with the Verizon FiOS software download. Please plan for the entire process to take approximately four (4) to six (6) hours.

All FiOS Internet Installations:

Special data wiring, CAT5 or higher grade, is required to connect the FiOS router to the Optical Network Terminal (ONT). If your home isn't pre-wired with CAT5 or higher grade wiring, our technician will evaluate your home's layout with you to determine the safest and most effective way to install this wiring on the day of your installation. Depending on your home's design and layout, this wiring may be run externally. Your technician will review all details of your installation prior to beginning work on your installation date.

Please note: Our technician will call prior to arrival. You will need to make sure that someone 18 years of age or older is home. This person will need to be able to make decisions on where to install equipment such as the router and battery backup unit (if applicable in your installation) and provide the technician access to your computer(s) to allow for the installation and configuration of Verizon FiOS Internet Service software.

It is important that you read the Terms of Service, which contain important information regarding your Verizon FiOS Internet Service. These Terms explain your rights and obligations, as well as ours.
